1. Ham Rong Mountain
Observing the town from a tower at 1.800 meter high on the top of Ham Rong Mountain is an exciting experience that anyone should try when travelling to Sapa. The town is in a different perspective. Roads, hotels and resorts become small under your foot. In addition, on Ham Rong Mountain you also enjoy colorful flower gardens passing through small canyons in Thach Lam stone garden.
2. Sapa Stone Church
Sapa Stone Church built in 1895 is considered the most entire ancient architectural mark of the French. The church has been embellished and preserved, became an indispensable image of dewy Sapa town.
3. Cat Cat Village
From Sapa town center to Cat Cat, it takes only 2 km. It is the old-aged village of the Mong remaining many traditional crafts such as flowers planting, silk weaving and jewelry crafting. In particular, the village has still retained many unique customs that cannot be found in other regions.
4. Muong Hoa Valley
Located 10km southeast from Sapa town, Muong Hoa is an attractive destination attracting wandering footsteps to the highlander. It’s not difficult to recognize Muong Hoa. Crossing a mountain pass along a mountain range, visitors will be “attracted” by the charm of landscapes here.
5. Ta Phin Village
Ta Phin village located near Sapa town is the major habitat of some ethnic groups including Red Dao and H’mong people. 6. Sapa Rattan Bridge
There is a bridge made of rattan crossing the romantic stream of Muong Hoa. From the main road, to reach Rattan Bridge, you can follow a new road with many slopes and bends. The famous rattan-made bridge is a favorite destination of many tourists.
7. Silver Waterfall
On the way to Lai Chau, you will see Silver Waterfall rushes down from the height of 200 meters and flowing into the stream under the valley of O Quy Ho, which creates impressive sounds of mountains. From Silver Waterfall, transferring 3 km further, you will reach Dinh Deo which offers great views of Fansipan; in the bottom is a unique path to Binh Lu.
8. Heaven Gate
Out of Sapa Town, going north about 18 km, the road to the heaven gate is winding in the middle of rolling mountains with long run hidden shadows. Only wind blows that make vegetation paste in stones. The pass-road is called Tram Ton, flowing among the majestic Hoang Lien Son range. And the Heaven Gate is the peak of the pass.
9. O Quy Ho Peak
On the road to Lai Chau, passing Silver waterfall and Love waterfall, you will visit O Quy Ho peak, one of the four famous mountain passes of Northern. Standing on the top of the pass you can see winding paths connecting two provinces of Lao Cai and Lai Chau. Next to it is the spectacular Hoang Lien Son range.
